The Great Western Tile Company began in 1981 as a family-owned and -operated business. In 1984, founder and owner Steve Chirico incorporated Great Western Tile into what is now The Great Western Flooring Company.

Formed on hard work, attention to detail and a joy in serving people, Great Western’s rapid growth was instantly imminent. Intent on creating theultimate design center, Steve pursued a partnership with the country’s largest flooring manufacturers, representing the flooring industry’s elite companies.

As buzz built around our first retail location, the business continued expanding its products and services to include carpet, hardwood, resilient, countertops and window coverings.

Years later, we are still devoted to the A.R.T. of flooring: Accountability, Reliability and Trust – our promises to you.

Today, Great Western Flooring is still family-owned and -operated by Steve’s daughters, Lauren and Dana. GWF continues to introduce new, forward-thinking collections to best service our residential, remodel, new construction and commercial clients. We pride ourselves on bringing the necessary technical and visionary expertise to each project – producing chic, thoughtful and creative designs along the way.
